PhotographsIt is always the quality of the original photo that determines the quality of the final output. All imperfections will be more visible when you enlarge a photograph. For the best result, be sure to: 1. Use the best image you can find 2. Scan the image with the right amount of information (Mb). Example:
When displays are smaller you are more likely to view them close up. This is why a Zap will have a greater Mb to size ratio than Network. We recommend that you take note of the sizes here and don't make the files to big as the images might be hard to work with then. Save images as EPS or TIFF files and choose CMYK or RGB. IMPORTANT: Make sure not to mix the two colour charts in any part of your document! IllustrationsWith vector graphics, you do not need to worry about the resolution or weight, as it is not built up from pixels. Logotypes should be vectorized for best print result. Convert all text to curves. ColoursIf you have a specific colour you would like to reproduce, it is a good idea to either send a printed colour sample or specify a PMS colour that the printer can use as a reference guide when printing. Stage and Scene tipsBoth Stage and Scene are printed on fabric, which has a seam sewn along the top and bottom for the horzizontal profiles. Make sure not to place text, logos or other small images to high or low in the artwork, as the seam may run across it. To make sure this does not happen, place the images 20 cm from top and bottom when working with Stage and 14 cm from top and bottom when working with Scene. Sewing Guide (PDF). |
